Queensland has recorded two new cases of coronavirus on Monday, both contained in quarantine, as the state government moves to vaccinate food supply workers to head off any future outbreaks.
One of the cases was locally acquired, and linked to the Indooroopilly cluster. The person was in home quarantine for their entire infectious period.

The other case was a traveller who returned from the Philippines and was detected in hotel quarantine.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said it was another good result for Queensland.
But authorities were not resting on their laurels, and were keeping a close eye on case numbers in southern states.

“We’re seeing the escalation of cases in NSW and Victoria … we’re very concerned there could be another outbreak any day,” the Premier said.
Ms Palaszczuk travelled to a Woolworths distribution centre on Monday to announce her government would prioritise vaccines for workers in the food supply chain.
Those workers will be moved to the “1b” category and vaccine hubs will be actively set up at major centres like the Larapinta facility.
That includes people in distribution centres, as well as facilities like meat processing plants, which were a focus for outbreaks in Victoria in 2020.
