A couple have been found dead in the debris of a house fire west of Brisbane overnight, authorities say.
Fire and emergency services were called to the Hannant Street property in Collingwood Park, a suburb of Ipswich, about 1am on Sunday, arriving minutes later to find the house fully engulfed.

The bodies of a 68-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman, who were the sole occupants of the house, were found soon after the blaze was brought under control.
Senior Sergeant Heath McQueen described the scene as a “shocking discovery” and said while investigations by police and fire authorities were in the early stages, no other person had been involved.
He said there was no history of domestic violence orders between the couple, but their relationship would form an “integral part” of the investigation.
“We’re still conducting extensive inquiries, including door-knock and CCTV inquiries of the area,” Senior Sergeant McQueen said.
A crime scene has been declared as authorities work to determine the cause of the blaze.
Anyone with information has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
