ERIK TEN HAG wants to reunite with Hakim Ziyech at Manchester United, according to reports.
The 52-year-old managed the Moroccan at Ajax with great success between 2017 and 2020,
Ziyech then left Amsterdam for Chelsea in a £37million deal – but he is now available for transfer just two years on.
Raheem Sterling’s Stamford Bridge arrival has reportedly made Ziyech, 29, surplus to requirements.
According to French reporter Nabil Djellit, Ziyech is among Ten Hag’s transfer “priorities” this month.
The attacking midfielder helped the Dutchman win the league and cup double in the Netherlands in 2019… in addition to reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
Djellit adds, however, that Ziyech is not universally adored at Old Trafford.
Some United chiefs are against the signing, with the club sensationally BLOCKING a deal – against their new manager’s wishes.
Ziyech would be an alternative target to Brazilian Ajax winger Antony,
The 22-year-old replaced the Chelsea ace at Ajax when he joined from Sao Paulo in 2020.

But he has so far been priced out of a move to Old Trafford to follow his old boss.
The Eredivisie champions are demanding £68m for their attacking star.
United will not do a deal unless Ajax lower their asking price… or if Antony puts pressure on them by handing in a transfer request.
Ten Hag has so far brought Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen to Old Trafford this summer – all players with Eredivisie experience.
He also wants Frenkie de Jong, although has so far been thwarted in his attempts to prise his Dutch compatriot away from Barcelona.
United are chasing a forward amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, and have reportedly opened talks for £55m-rated RB Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko.
