The Chinese mainland recorded 32 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday – four local transmissions and 28 from overseas – the latest data from the National Health Commission showed on Sunday.
In addition, 19 new asymptomatic cases were recorded, while 508 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.
This brings the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland to 94,631, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.
The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region is as follows:
Hong Kong: 12,052 (11,762 recoveries, 212 deaths)
Macao: 63 (59 recoveries)
Taiwan: 15,916 (13,581 recoveries, 828 deaths)
